I‘m not sure how many of you are vegetarians, but if you are, you might already know that walnuts are one of the few plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 essential fatty acid responsible for burning fat.
While many of us get enough omega-3 fatty acids from eating salmon and tuna, walnuts are extremely convenient. This healthy snack full of protein and healthy fats is one of my favourite snacks; in fact, I’m eating some as I write this article. So pick some up the next time you are at the grocery store and use these as one of your between meal snack.
